About Doug Dome

Doug Dome
Founder & CEO

Doug Dome is a senior marketing services executive, founder, consultant, educator, and board advisor with more than four decades of experience helping businesses grow, evolve, and create value. His background spans agency leadership, entrepreneurial ventures, private equity-backed growth, M&A, marketing technology, communications, and artificial intelligence.

Most recently, Doug served as President of Fusion92, the Chicago-based marketing transformation company, where he led a significant period of growth and operational expansion. In that role, he ran the overall P&L and day-to-day operations, managed all major functional departments, completed the firm’s private equity integration in 2021, served as executive representative on the Board of Directors, and oversaw seven acquisitions in five years. Under his leadership, Fusion92 achieved more than 300% revenue growth while maintaining robust EBITDA performance.

Earlier in his career, Doug founded Dome Communications and scaled it into a leading creative public relations agency before selling it to Hill & Knowlton / WPP. He later founded Core7, an early venture built around the belief that marketing would eventually evolve into an AI-driven, continuously optimizing system. He has also held senior leadership roles at FCB Chicago, Hill & Knowlton, Carmichael Lynch, All Terrain, and Gigunda Group.

Doug served for 16 years as an adjunct professor at the University of Chicago Graham School, where he taught the graduate-level capstone course in Managing Integrated Marketing Communications. His long-range thinking on AI in marketing was also featured by the American Marketing Association in 2016, years before the current wave of adoption.

He has been recognized with over 200 industry awards, including the PRSA’s Silver Anvil Award, PR News’ Agency Professional of the Year, PR News’ Innovator of the Year, the Publicity of Chicago’s Elynore D. Meserow Creativity Award, and an American Business Award’s Stevie Award for creative leadership.
